Sound as smart in English as you do in your native language.

You don't need a business English course. You need to talk. With real people, regularly, until the words come without thinking.

The problem you actually have

Your written English is fine. You can read a 30-page report and understand the details. You can write emails that sound professional. You can follow a meeting agenda.

What you can't do, yet, is sound like the version of yourself you actually are.

In your native language, you are sharp. You make jokes. You push back politely on a bad idea. You explain something complicated in a way colleagues remember. In English meetings, you go quiet. You wait until you have a complete sentence before speaking, and by then the topic has moved on. You say less than you would, and what you do say is simpler than what you think.

This is not a knowledge problem. It is a real-time speaking problem. The vocabulary is in your head. The grammar is mostly in your head. What's missing is the speed: the ability to find the word, form the sentence, and deliver it before the conversation moves past you.

You can't fix that with a textbook. You can't fix it by listening to business English podcasts. You can't even fix it with AI conversation, because AI will wait while you find the word, and your meetings won't.

The only way to fix it is to talk to real native English speakers, often, until your brain stops doing translation as a separate step and just speaks.

That is what we are building.

What we’re building

Cambiyo

You open the app. You see who is online. You filter by accent (American, British, Australian, whatever your meetings sound like). You see ratings, prices, profiles. You pick someone. You start talking.

Speakers set their own prices, starting from $5 an hour. You pay only for the time you spend talking. No subscription. No booking.

Every speaker is checked before they go live. They send a video selfie. We check their face, accent, and country. Anyone fake doesn't get on the platform.

They are not business English coaches. They are real people: students, freelancers, retirees, anyone fluent in English who wants to earn from a conversation. Many of them work in English themselves and are happy to talk about your work, ask you questions about your job, or pretend to be a colleague in a difficult meeting if you ask.

The point is not to take a structured course in "business English." The point is to spend regular time speaking real English with real people until the speed catches up to your thinking.

What practice looks like

It's 7am. You have coffee, you have 30 minutes before work. You open Cambiyo. Sarah is online. You spend 25 minutes telling her about a project that's going badly. She asks follow-up questions. You explain things you'd usually say in your own language. By the end, you've said the words bottleneck, push back, and wrap up in real sentences for the first time.

It's lunch break. You eat at your desk and you have an hour. You're preparing for a one-to-one with your manager tomorrow where you need to ask for something. Jake is online. You spend 40 minutes talking it through with him. He plays your manager. You practise saying the things you want to say. By the end, the words feel less stiff.

It's the night before a big presentation. You don't need a course. You need to say it out loud to a real human and have them ask the questions a real audience will ask. Claire is online. You spend an hour going through it. She tells you when something isn't clear. You fix it.

The presentation goes differently than the last one did. You sound like the version of yourself you actually are. You stop being held back by something you can fix.
